the guest editor of Declare Yourself, is a screen and stage actor best known as the star of TV’s “Ugly Betty,” for which she has won an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild award. Her breakout role was in the independent film “Real Women Have Curves,” which lead to many more high-profile projects, including “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and its upcoming sequel, which is scheduled to release in August 2008. America is also a student of international relations at the University of Southern California.
