And inspirations? The sensual world of food, music, flowers, and animals. My friends and family, especially my children.
What suggestions do you have for aspiring writers? Write freely, without judging yourself, about your passions. Read constantly. Challenge yourself to be compassionate. Find a mentor who pushes you in a kind way. Listen to your inner voice. Keep a journal. Record your dreams. Work hard. Devote yourself as to a loved one. Don't be afraid.
What is the most satisfying thing about being a writer? Expressing my inner feelings in a cathartic way and touching others. I am deeply moved by the kind of letters and beautiful stories, poetry and artwork I have received from my readers. You have been so generous in sharing your love and pain with me and I am grateful.
